Hi Nina and A, Thank you for your honest sharing! I totally understand how it can be hard especially during this time. I think not taking it personally is important and being understanding. There may be other things going on in their lives that have made things difficult!

Same.. a friend that used to be close has dropped off the face of the earth. It’s hard not to take it personally. I am trying to see what I can learn from this instead, and am trying to accept that that’s just how life is. You cross paths with people and sometimes those paths run alongside each other- then they suddenly don’t.

Right now, a good friend suddenly stopped replying/ messaging me. I want to know why and ask for answers, but he goes to my church and I don’t want to make things awkward for him to come… so I’m waiting but also grieving so much. He’s still around, in fact we live a couple streets from each other but I am afraid to ask him why. I am beyond hurt. I just pretend to be fine when he randomly sends me a meme on Instagram. But other than that, he barely replies compared to him messaging me back every day about his day. I don’t know what to do especially in this time of quarantining… can’t distract myself with much except for work. This season is just hard :(.
